DAY 5 Obsession. Service. Passion

How underrated these three virtues are! True greatness in any field is a rare combination of obsession, service and patience. If only we could practise these daily, we would see great benefits in everything that we do.

Obsession requires a sense of strong passion, which keeps you inspired and consistent.

Service lifts your spirits and connects you with humanity.

Patience keeps you humbled and aligned—and is strongly intertwined with faith.

Today’s reminder: Imagine your workday today, and think about how you can inculcate these three qualities. Then, at night, make a note to journal down what good you did for others, an instance of patience you held and how you found passion in what you were doing. Think about how you can implement these three qualities in your life on a daily basis.

DAY 6 A Higher Plan

We might feel down and out when we don’t get what we want or what we have called for in life.

But, in reality, there is a more cohesive, future-looking and vested plan out there waiting for us.

It’s hard to see it in the moment, especially when we are disappointed, but if you look back at your life, you will start to see trends and patterns of why certain things did not work out for you, and why the things you never really asked for actually worked out really well!

Today’s reminder: Remember this today: ‘When you don’t get what you prayed for, it’s because what you’re meant to have has been praying for you.’

DAY 7 The Sacred Pen

In the sacred act of writing, we become real-time architects of our own destiny. Writing is a secret success weapon that’s often misunderstood.

Why? Because what’s written eventually becomes real.

When you keep your desires just floating around in your head, you cannot go anywhere with them. When your goals, however, are written down, you have more capacity to visualize them clearly and your brain neurologically processes the means or the process to get there without a conscious knowing.

Writing also lifts a load off your shoulders because you have activated the process of brain dumping—a technique where you release and write down everything on your mind without overthinking or needing to organize the information.

Today’s reminder: It’s time to write the life you always talked about having. Remember, it’s not just about jotting down words—you’re breathing life into your ambitions, summoning the forces of determination and belief, because there is immense energy in words being declared with intention.

DAY 8 The Spotlight Effect

The spotlight effect is a very real thing! We have a natural tendency to overestimate how much other people notice about us. More often than not, we tend to think that there is a spotlight on us at all times, highlighting our mistakes and flaws for all the world to see.

It is believed that this very anxiety comes from being overly self-conscious or being constantly told as a child: ‘What will other people think of you?’

While it may feel as though everyone knows what you are thinking about yourself, in actuality nobody has the ability to really read your mind. Once you can see that people are really caught up in their own stories, fears and prejudices, it will become easier for you to imagine that the spotlight is not always shining on you and highlighting your flaws.

Today’s reminder: The trick to a serene life is to genuinely care about everyone, while also not caring about what they think.

DAY 9 Before You Go to Sleep (The Law of Attraction)

At night, our subconscious mind is more receptive and primed to the last things we affirm to ourselves just before we sleep, especially as our brain heads into deeper wave stages. Our reticular activating system (RAS) is primed to wake up to these embedded thoughts the next day and acts as a filter looking for more of the same—the good stuff.

And that is the basis of how to extend our vibrational field, leading to attracting more of the same.

Who was it that I connected with today, heart to heart?

What inspired me to grow?

What challenge did I overcome today?

What got my soul laughing or stirred my spirit?

What happened today that is going to help me look forward to tomorrow?

Today’s reminder: Start looking for the answers to these questions during the day, so at night they readily come to the forefront of your consciousness. This will also prime you for a more content and fulfilled day as you live it in real time.

DAY 10 Your Birthright

People that are on this constant treadmill of having to justify their existence and share every part of their lives are sadly missing something important inside them—their very own self-approval.

Perhaps, as a child, they were made to feel insignificant, unworthy and unloved unless they were approved of—and hence, as an adult, they developed a pattern of people-pleasing and sensitivity to other people’s reactions towards them.

But living a life on your own terms is the biggest pat on the back you can give yourself—the only concrete route to self-approval. This takes great self-awareness and mental acuity, especially if you were one of those kids who were constantly measured against your own progress.

Today’s reminder: Normalize not needing to constantly disclose or justify who you are or what you are doing. It is your birthright to express yourself on your own terms, and you owe no one an explanation.

DAY 11 Feel-Good Divine Message

Hope this message gives you some hope today! Because even though it may not feel like it right now, you are going to end up exactly where you need to be.

You will land up with the people who love you the most.

You will land up doing what you were created to do.

You will get what is in your highest good.

Despite all the detours. Be open. It’s waiting for you.

Trust.

Today’s reminder: The detour was actually an upgrade!
