About the Book

In Tokyo lies a neighborhood renowned for its unparalleled concentration of bookstores. This area, known as Jinbocho, is a paradise for bibliophiles, where enthusiasts can endlessly peruse and collectors hunt for rare first editions or autographed copies.

One such gem in Jinbocho is the Morisaki bookshop, a cozy, family-run store so crammed with books that it can barely accommodate five people at a time. The shelves overflow, and books spill into every nook and cranny. When a customer steps in, Satoru, the owner, promptly emerges from behind the counter. His wife, Momoko, has recently joined him, and their niece, Takako, often lends a hand after her work.
